It has a 9 inch throat to easily handle both documents as well as staples, paper clips, CD''s and credit cards. The Shredmaster GSX127 shreds documents into cross-cut pieces that are 1/6" x 1-3/4" for a level 3 security level. It can shred up to 12-15 sheets of paper at a time and shreds documents at speeds of 7 feet per minute. The GSX127 offers extra-intelligent Jam Free technology. The shredder opening illuminates RED to warn when there is too much paper inserted. Simply remove paper to continue shredding. No time wasted, no mess made.
