The L31 series of cartridges fit a variety of popular Brother fax machines and multifunction devices. The black model (LC31BK) has a life of approximately 500 pages at 5% coverage with 600 x 150 dpi resolution (fast mode). The corresponding color cartridges (LC31C, LC31M, and LC31Y) have a life of approximately 400 pages at 5% coverage with 600 x 150 dpi resolution (fast mode). These numbers are based on consecutive printing and will vary based on printing frequency and the number of pages you print.
Compatible models include FAX-1820C, FAX-1920CN, MFC-3820CN, MFC-3420C, MFC-3320CN, and MFC-3220C. Note that many machines periodically clean the print head in order to maintain the print quality, and this process consumes a small amount of ink. One cartridge per package.
