The TAA Compliant, German-made CX40-59 shredder meets the secure shredding needs of the typical commercial space. It boasts an impressive 40 sheet capacity and a cross-cut (Level P-3) cut type and security level. As a cross-cut shredder it shreds paper in two directions and is suitable for shredding average security business documents including presentations, emails and reports. One sheet of letter-size paper is shred into 332 pieces. Users can shred up to 40 sheets at a time, including those with paper clips and staples. This shredder will also shred credit cards, CDs and DVDs. The shredded materials are caught in an extra large 59 gallon waste bin. A bin full indicator on the shredder interface will illuminate when the bin needs to be emptied; the pull-out bin can be lined with plastic shredder bags to make this task easier.
